New Born Heifer Calf
Found this new born calf with her mother about 4:30 this morning. She had obviously already eaten as she was able to walk to the barn (3/8 mile) following her mother. Sometimes if they haven't eaten yet I have to carry them. I could easily carry them when I was younger but now I find I need to go get the truck quite often if they are very far away. This evening the calf and her mother were still both doing great.
