Lessons Learned about Black Walnuts
It seems that some are destined for injuries. A couple had traveled to La and brought back a bunch of fresh shrimp, so after church services Sunday a shrimp feast was being enjoyed by those in attendance. Black walnuts are about the same size and weight as a baseball if still in the green outer husk and that is what some of the younger ones found. But here is the important part they also learned if you decide to have a "Black Walnut Fight" you might get hurt. My oldest grandson Skeezix is shown with an injury. No blood or broken teeth but a valuable lesson all the same.
