Star of Bethlehem

These "Star of Bethlehem"s grow wild in the yard where my daughter, Mitzi, lives. They were planted by my Great Grandmother, Ola "Ma" (Owens) Kelley in the 1920s. Each and every spring when they cover the yard next to the road they remind me of "Ma" Kelley. She always had lots of nice flowers around the house. I remember how much I enjoyed staying with her in the summertime and each evening we would be out watering the flowers that surrounded the house. She always planted lots of "Zinnias". Now we have started growing our own "Zinnias" from seed. Glinda planted them outdoors this week and when they start blooming you can bet I will be posting some photos of them.
