Fantasy World by Edna ( a poem )


This is a picture taken of a member of the 18th District, Dept of Mo, Veterans of Foreign Wars during the campaign in Granada.  The poem was written by her sister.  She e-mailed this to me yesterday evening and I thought I would share it here.

Thanks for sharing. She was a million miles away that day in her mind. She has nightmares of the days and week old bodies she helped put in body bags. She don't talk of it unless she's drunk or upset. Yes, I know her very well. So will not sign my name. Thanks for sharing her photo and poem. She IS in her own "Fantasy World"!
