April 9, 2007
Day started out around 25 degrees. Following morning milking, feeding and breakfast for
ourselves I went to MFA and got a load of fertilizer (3 ton = $1080.00) came home and spread
it on two fields. Following that we hooked up the field tiller to the tractor and I used it in the
garden because the time seemed right. Following that we put new plastic on the greenhouse
( I built for my wife three season ago) because these almost 800 seedling plants we have
started are running us out of the house. We will put them in the greenhouse tomorrow afternoon.
By now it is time for evening chores - milking and feeding again.

This is our granddaughter Melody feeding the calf born Saturday morning.

This is the greenhouse after getting it recovered in plastic. (this is the north side).

When we got through with the evening chores we decided to plant in the garden. This is my wife
Glinda and our granddaughter Melody planting onions. We also planted carrots, radishes,
lettuce, beets and potatoes. We were finally able to get back in the house around 7:30 p.m.
Until tomorrow,
